I am Sad. Yesterday was day 30 that Governor & Lawmakers didn't respond to my letters requesting 'Action' to improve #TrafficSafety. But even Sadder, that I couldn't get even 10 friends to commit to come to State House to light a Candle on 14th Feb to remember about 988 people who died in Road Accidents in 2017, and 1038 people who died in 2018, in South Carolina. I canceled the 'Candle Lighting' of 14th Feb. #StopRoadDeaths #WeDemandAction

988 Fatalities & 2986 Serious Injuries / year in Road accidents is the average in South Carolina, one of the highest in Nation. Our Governor still wants to use Surplus Money to issue a Refund checks rather than solving this serious Problem. 'Fast' with me on Feb 14th in front of the State House! #StopRoadDeaths #StopRoadInjuries #TrafficSafety

I am still hopeful that I will get a response from our Government and a Promise To Pay attention to this issue of Traffic Deaths and Serious Injuries. If I didn't hear back from them, I will Fast on this Valentine's Day, Feb 14th. Protest is not the right of Victims only, I call you-all to join me to support this cause. #TrafficSafety #StopRoadDeaths #StopRoadInjuries

#TrafficSafety My Math Is Not Wrong, May be its my GRAMMAR? 😕.....that 124 House representatives, 46 Senators, Governor and Lieutenant Governor haven't responded with their "Action" Plan to solve a serious problem of Road Accidents in South Carolina. Below are the letters, may be you can #FollowUp in better English, Please 😕 I showed them the Stats of 988 Fatalities and 2986 Serious Injuries per year in South Carolina, and even the MATH that that We the people of SC have to beat these odds every year (78 years average life)...and our loved ones (12 average no. loved ones) too have to beat these odds every year. Even tried to translate in $$ loss to Taxpayers, still No Response ! www.votesinha.org/sc-letter-to-governor-jan-19-2020/ www.votesinha.org/sc-all-state-senators-jan-19-2020/ www.votesinha.org/sc-all-state-representative-jan-19-2020/ #StopRoadDeaths #StopRoadInjuries #WeDemandAction

Road Accidents cost US economy about $900 billion/year, that can pay for : Childcare, College and so on...not to mention we will save 40,231 Lives and 4.5 million Serious Injuries. Honorable Future President, Please would you help us make this happen.. #AccidentFreeAmerica www.nsc.org/road-safety/safety-topics/fatality-estimates #StopRoadDeaths #StopRoadInjuries #CallForAction

988 Deaths + 2986 Serious Injuries = 3974 /year in South Carolina alone, now multiply that by 78 (average life span) = 309,972 , now multiply that by 12 (average no. of loved ones) = 3,719,664....NOT to trying to Scare you, just making you AWARE ...Lets NOT try to beat the odds everyday, Lets bring some Change ! -- Please share ideas on how to Draw Attention of Non-responsive Governor & Legislators towards this Cause ? #StopRoadDeaths #WeDemandAction

#TrafficSafety I sent a letter to Hon. Molly Spearman, SC Superintendent of Education and four (4) Term State House Representative on Jan 12, suggesting Traffic Safety education should be a part of school education which will nurture Safe Drivers, as a big portion of Auto accidents involve aged 16-19 drivers (3 times more at risk than older drivers), which will also inspire Parents and Older Siblings to be safe driver. I haven't heard from her yet. Please #FollowUp www.votesinha.org/sc-edu-super-molly-spearman-jan-12-2020/

South Carolina is currently averaging : 988 Deaths and 2986 Serious injuries per year which has over the years costed taxpayers, Millions of Dollars and Thousands of 'Priceless' Lives & Immense emotional pain to families. Our Leadership has failed us. Honorable Governor Henry McMaster Instead of small Tax Refund Check, please distribute surplus money as follows : 1. $100 Million towards Infrastructure, Engineering & Enforcement Support to South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP). 2. $50 Million towards Education & Awareness programs to stop Road Deaths and Injuries. 3. $100 Million towards Childcare vouchers so that Parents can go to work. 4. $50 Million towards Clean water initiatives. 5. $50 Million towards Broadband Infrastructure. 6. $25 Million towards Loan to Micro Businesses for start up. 7. $25 Million grants towards fixing up of In town Commercial Real estates. #WeDemandAction

Currently we have on average 988 Fatalities and 2986 Serious injuries every YEAR in Traffic Accidents, that's just in South Carolina, Imagine entire US? I have sent letters to Honorable Kevin McCarthy & Honorable Steny Hoyer, asking about Congress's Action plan to reduce the number of Road Traffic Fatalities and Serious injuries to zero. You also please follow up and brainstorm with them when you get time, so that we can find solutions to achieve success in this joint and critical mission, Target Zero. You can read the letters on my website : votesinha.org/us-rep-r-leader-kevin-mccarthy/ votesinha.org/us-rep-d-leader-steny-hoyer/ Website for Honorable Kevin McCarthy: www.republicanleader.gov/ Website for Honorable Steny Hoyer : www.majorityleader.gov/ #TafficSafety #TimeForChange

Statement of my candidacy (click the FEC link below), happy to see its official 🙂 ..notice on the 3rd page, I mailed it on October 7th and it reached Washington DC on October 16th, it took 9 days for our beloved USPS to travel a distance of 7 hr 14 min by road. No wonder it takes a while for Congress to listen to common man 🙂 I am only 14 months away from reaching there, being an IT guy, when in office, I will ensure that : 'Information' travelling back & forth from Washington is 'prompt' and is 'accurate'. docquery.fec.gov/pdf/495/201910160300298495/201910160300298495.pdf

TIME FOR CHANGE : Common Man for Congress For far too long, Washington has enjoyed the monopoly of Elite, it’s time for change. Its time for Common man for Congress. My name is Viresh Sinha, and I am South Carolina 's 2nd Congressional District resident. I immigrated to America in 1998 with a well paying Computer Programming job. I spent several years in Los Angeles, California after working in Grand Rapids, Michigan for little over a year, and finally moved to Columbia, South Carolina. In my 21 years of journey in United States, I worked for large corporations like Ross Perot's Electronic Data Systems, and I started up few small businesses including the one, most dear to my heart, a preschool in St. Andrews in Columbia, South Carolina. I have lived a well off life and I have lived in poverty as well. First hand, I have experienced that life of a common man has become more & more stressful while level of Politics deteriorating everyday. I am a common man with common needs, and I know what it's like to have your best interests disregarded by establishment politicians. I understand intimately the issues that South Carolinian hold dear, and I want to fight to make a change in the halls of Congress by pushing for common sense solutions to our problems, and I have pledged to run for U.S. Congress. I plan to use my diversified, multicultural life experience and expertise in various areas of engineering and technology to…
